Our models / Other advanced therapies

Safety & evidence infrastructure shaped to each advanced therapy

Our models follow each therapy's delivery needs and safety profile. We provide the scalable infrastructure to make sure your health system or practice is ready to deliver the next wave of advanced therapies. For pharma and biotech companies, we help generate the evidence and demonstrate the pharmacovigilance an emerging therapy needs, from first trial through commercial delivery.

How we tailor the model

Built around each therapy's safety profile

Every advanced therapy has its own toxicities, its own timing, and its own signals. We start from the safety profile and build the clinical response around it, instead of fitting the therapy to a model built for something else.

01

Map the risk window

When do toxicities appear? After infusion, around each step-up dose, after discharge, or between dosing visits. Monitoring is concentrated where risk is highest.

02

Choose the signals

The physiologic signals, symptoms, and assessments that show a toxicity forming, from heart rate, respiratory rate, SpO₂, and temperature to weight, ePROs, and virtual ICE assessments.

03

Set the intensity

From guided check-ins on a set schedule to passive, around-the-clock monitoring, with devices matched to the signals that matter.

04

Define the response

Alarm thresholds balanced for sensitivity and specificity, so real deterioration is caught without flooding nurses and sites with noise. Our Clinical Coordination Center acts on them under each site's protocols.

Automated check-ins

Scheduled readings and symptom check-ins through the Current Health app, for a lower, well-defined window of risk

24/7 detection & clinical oversight

Around-the-clock signals from our FDA-cleared wearable, for toxicities that can escalate quickly or present without fever

Support can step up around each dose, when risk is highest, and step back down between doses as risk falls.

What tailoring looks like

Different therapies, different windows of risk

Three types of therapy, and how the signals and response change with each. Every program's configuration is set with the sponsor and the treating sites.

Type of therapy

Window of risk

Signals that matter

Response

TIL therapy

The weeks after infusion and high-dose IL-2, while cytopenias and infection risk persist

Temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, SpO₂, and signs of infection

Fever and infection escalation per site protocol

Monoclonal antibodies

The days of each infusion course, when infusion reactions and CRS are most likely

Temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and symptoms such as rash

Escalation of infusion reactions or CRS per site protocol

Antibody-drug conjugates

Slower onset, over days to weeks

Resting SpO₂ trend, where a drop of 2–4% over 1–3 days can be an early sign of interstitial lung disease

Prompt evaluation for interstitial lung disease

Therapeutic areas

Therapeutic areas we support

Health systems and community practices deliver CAR-T, bispecifics, TIL therapy, and monoclonal antibodies with Current Health today. Pharma and biotech companies also work with us on therapies in development across these areas.

Hematologic oncology

CAR-T and TCR-T therapies, including autologous, allogeneic, and in vivo. CD3 bispecific and trispecific T-cell engagers.

Indications Multiple myeloma, B-cell lymphomas, and B-cell leukemias

Solid tumor oncology

TIL therapy, monoclonal antibodies, and antibody-drug conjugates with pulmonary toxicity.

Indications Melanoma, and breast, lung, and gastric cancers

Autoimmune and rheumatology

CD19 and BCMA cell therapies and T-cell engagers moving into autoimmune disease.

Indications Lupus and lupus nephritis, systemic sclerosis, myositis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjögren's

Neurology

Cell therapies and T-cell engagers, plus anti-CD20 infusions where the label leaves a coverage gap.

Indications Generalized myasthenia gravis, stiff person syndrome, and multiple sclerosis

Endocrinology

Monoclonal antibody infusions with a defined window of risk during the treatment course.

Indications Type 1 diabetes

Rare disease

AAV and ex vivo gene therapies.

Indications Sickle cell disease, hemophilia, spinal muscular atrophy, and metachromatic leukodystrophy

For pharma and biotech

One partner, a program built for each product

Each asset gets its own safety monitoring, evidence plan, and data flow, designed around its safety profile and its stage of development. What stays the same is the partner that builds and runs it.

Evidence generation plan

Endpoints designed into the protocol from the start, not retrofitted to the data afterward.

Safety and pharmacovigilance protocols

Signals, thresholds, and escalation rules set to the asset's toxicity profile and to trial or label requirements.

Data handling

Where each data stream goes and in what format. Deidentified data flows to your EDC, clinical documentation to the treating site's EHR, and safety reports to your safety database.

Monitoring window and intensity

Sized to the at-risk window, from step-up dosing to recovery after discharge to months of ongoing dosing.

The partner behind every program. The same FDA-cleared platform, 24/7 Clinical Coordination Center, and in-house kit logistics, with experience running programs from Phase I trials through commercial delivery.

For health systems and community practices

Support for every advanced therapy you offer

Whether you plan to deliver advanced therapies through a central program or embed delivery in specialty services, we can configure protocols and visibility for your approach. Use our ready-to-run models for CAR-T, bispecifics, TIL therapy, and monoclonal antibodies, so each new therapy builds on what your teams already run.

  • Evidence-based protocols for each therapy, reviewed and approved by your clinical leads
  • The same 24/7 Clinical Coordination Center behind every patient, escalating to your on-call team per your protocols
  • Quality reporting across your whole program, by therapy and site
